Founded on September 28, 1998, Indian Laminate Manufacturer's Association (ILMA) is a registered non-trading corporation having the registered office in Ahmedabad and having the presence across various regions of India. It is the only registered association for laminate manufacturers in India having more than 115+ members. These members are manufacturers of decorative laminates, compact laminates or high-pressure laminates. The association's membership base also comprises of few Pre-Lam, Particle Boards and Medium Density Fibre Board (MDF) Manufacturers.

All my Dear Friends,
I have a very great pleasure in extending to you all the most cordial welcome to this 6th International Conference on Laminates (6th ICL), here at the Capital Of India, New Delhi. This is an opportunity graced where all the leading personnel from Laminate Industry is gathered here exchanging ideas and expertise making this event one of the finest in the world of Laminates.

  • Promote modern tehcnologies, equipments, materials and modern tools for the development of laminates industry.
  • Reinforcement of direct global business contacts between international and domestic stakeholders of laminate industry of the world.
  • Creating awaremess towards the advance developments in technology sector for bridging gape with international market players.

Right, since I took the responsibilty as ILMA's President since 2016, my ofcus has always been on improvement of quality, technology and efficient production of laminates produced in India.

Main Objectives

The main objectives of the Association are as follows

  • To assist the member in problems faced by them in routine activities of laminate manufacture and sales.
  • To assist the member in matters related to government laws, tax matters or other issues of common interest, whether directly or indirectly.
  • To create the platform for generating the healthy competition amongst the member companies generating the business growth.
  • To safeguard the interest of the members against undue advantages taken by the third parties.
  • To provide necessary technical and non-technical information about the Industry to members on regular basis.
  • To make the representation before the various government bodies for the betterment of the laminate industry.
Code of Conduct

All the Members of the Association are required to abide by the following code of conduct

  • The member should discharge their function, duties, and responsibilities in accordance with the laws of India.
  • The member should maintain the highest standards of transparency and integrity while dealing with customers, dealers, distributors, employees and third parties.
  • The member should ensure at all point of time their competency to discharge their contractual and professional obligations and responsibilities.
  • The member should not maliciously injure the reputation of any other member of the Association.
  • In the event of the dispute or disagreement, the member should abide by the decisions of the Association.
  • A member shall not maliciously injure the reputation of all/any fellow member.
  • The member should exercise due care to prevent unauthorized disclosure of confidential matters related to the Industry.
